SORGED is looking for volunteers for a short-term ESC volunteering project in Yozgat, Türkiye. Volunteers will support activities related to youth work, intercultural learning, community engagement, environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, and disaster preparedness while working in an international team.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment in Sorgun with double rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Accommodation is provided by SORGED, and volunteers will live with other ESC participants. Basic kitchen equipment and internet will be available. In line with ESC rules, volunteers will receive €6 per day for pocket money and €6 for food. Travel costs will be covered according to the ESC distance calculator and must be approved before purchasing tickets.
Training during the activity
During the activity, volunteers will receive orientation and ongoing learning support. The orientation programme will introduce the hosting organisation, project objectives, local culture, safety procedures, and volunteer responsibilities. Throughout the project, volunteers will participate in non-formal education workshops on youth work, intercultural learning, communication, teamwork, environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, and disaster preparedness. They will also benefit from language support, mentoring, and regular reflection sessions to support their personal and professional develo
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated, open-minded, and responsible young people who are interested in volunteering and intercultural learning. Participants should be willing to work in a team, communicate in English, respect diversity, and actively contribute to project activities. An interest in youth work, sports, healthy lifestyles, arts, environmental sustainability, disaster preparedness, entrepreneurship, and personal development is highly appreciated. Experience in social media, photography, video production, or digital content creation is an asset but not required. We welcome participants who are eager to learn, share ideas, take initiative, and contribute positively to local communities while developing their personal and professional skills.
