The project:

The Role of Youth Centers and Youth Workers in Green Practices is a 6-day immersive program that equips youth workers and youth center representatives with the knowledge, skills, and tools to integrate sustainability into their daily work. Centered around the 7 R’s of Sustainability (Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Regift, Recycle), the seminar will empower participants to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within their communities.  Participants will engage in:

• Interactive workshops and best-practice sharing
• Hands-on activities to develop sustainability strategies.
• Exploration of Erasmus+ opportunities and funding possibilities for green youth projects.
• Networking with international youth workers and organizations.

Specific Objectives:

 •Raise Awareness: Enhance understanding of sustainability and the environmental impact of daily habits.
 •Promote Behavioral Change: Equip participants with practical tools to integrate sustainability into youth work.
 •Empower Youth Leadership: Support youth workers in guiding people toward sustainable action.
 •Engage the Community: Foster collaboration with local and international stakeholders for long-term impact.
 •Enhance Networking & Erasmus+ Opportunities: Develop partnerships and explore funding possibilities for green youth projects.

Participants profile

We are looking for youth workers, educators, NGO representatives, and community leaders who:
• Are actively working with young people on migration-related issues;
• Have experience or interest in social inclusion, integration, and intercultural dialogue;
• Are willing to engage, share experiences, and learn new methodologies;
• Are committed to implementing the knowledge gained in their local communities
