Common Sense Youth Organization (CSYO) has successfully completed another initiative dedicated to fostering the intellectual development of school students and unlocking the potential of young people in Sumgait. Organized by Common Sense Youth Organization in partnership with the Absheron-Khizi Regional Representation of the Youth Development and Career Centre, and supported by the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department and Lider Education Center, the “Inter-School HedaCore JR Championship – Spring Season 2026” brought together knowledge, logic, and teamwork in a unique intellectual competition for school students in Sumgait.
The championship gathered 40 teams consisting of more than 250 students from grades 7–10 representing schools across Sumgait. Following two qualification rounds, a semi-final, and an exciting final stage, the winners of the championship were determined:
1st Place – “Zəka” Team
2nd Place – “Everbest” Team
3rd Place – “İstedad” Team
The winning teams were awarded trophies, medals, and valuable prizes sponsored by Lider Education Center.
In line with the mission of Common Sense Youth Organization, HedaCore is much more than a traditional knowledge competition. It is a unique intellectual platform designed to equip school students with practical skills they will need in real life. Through innovative game rounds, participants develop critical and analytical thinking, strategic decision-making under pressure, effective teamwork, and long-term planning skills.
With this initiative, Common Sense Youth Organization has once again made a significant contribution to the development of children and young people through non-formal education, the meaningful use of their free time, and the strengthening of an intellectual youth community. The organization remains committed to supporting innovative initiatives that enhance the personal and professional competencies of young people.
