Membership Application Procedure and Requirements

Application Procedure

Any Azerbaijani young person over the age of 16 can apply for membership in the organization.

By decision of the Board, since 2023 membership application forms are collected during a specified period. After the initial selection stage, meetings are held with candidates and their trial period for membership begins.

Based on the applications, the Board invites young people who have passed the initial selection stage to an introductory meeting. During this meeting, they are added to internal member groups by email and social media for active communication.

Membership candidates are given a 4-month trial period and are introduced to the activity program that will apply during that time. People in the trial period may choose the teams they will work with or move to other teams whenever they wish.

Candidates who complete the trial period are then invited to an interview. By decision of the interview team, candidates are either accepted into membership or receive a rejection response.

Before the membership interview, prepared evaluation forms are completed by the candidate and the activity team coordinator. The interview is conducted with the participation of the coordinator of the candidate’s activity team, the Board, the Secretariat, and representatives of the Audit and Control Commission.
