Spring Volunteering Wave is a project where 15 young people of ages between 18-30 all around Europe come together and work on a common goal towards making the “Blue Whale” Education and youth center a place of freedom, expression and innovative ideas. Volunteers will work on – Restoration of the education center – Potential main projects to be chosen with the volunteers (stone oven, greenhouse, artwork on the backside wall) – Community activities & engagement During 7 days of the volunteering, participants will be asked to disconnect from their devices and participate in various activities in order to help them reconnect with themselves and other around them.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

There is a budget to reimburse the travel of the volunteers depending on the distance of their place of residence, calculated with the Erasmus Distance Calculator. Volunteers will be provided with a place for cooking and will receive a weekly budget for the group in order to cook all together. They will live together in the center in shared rooms. Volunteers will receive bicycles that they can use in the free time. Twice a week they will have the chance to go to a supermarket by car. Volunteers will receive 6€/day as pocket money.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: 

✔ basic knowledge of written and spoken english
✔ Between 18 and 30 years old
✔ interested in making new connections with volunteers from all over Europe
✔ creative, motivated and engaged
