Purpose of the project: Our organization aims to transform Târgu Frumos, a small town in Iași County Romania, into a cultural hub for the region. Among several art places we work in, we run a ceramic studio, with clay, tools, a potter’s wheel, and a professional kiln. We’re looking for an artist with experience in ceramic art, to join our team! The tasks are to facilitate art workshops for children, youth, and adults, design creative items for art exhibitions, cooperate with other artists, and design unique installations to promote the local cultural heritage. Our volunteer program is very intense, but it will give you a great personal and professional experience.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 31/7/2023 to 31/01/2024 (6 months)

Accommodation, food, and transport arrangements:
We will provide accommodation in a double room, in our youth center (Act House, Cucuteni no.8, oraș Târgu Frumos, jud. Iași, Romania) – check it in 3D: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=qfesimaqz6c. You will receive 150 euro/per month (food money) and 4 euro/per day (pocket money). This money is enough for the living standards in Târgu Frumos. Târgu Frumos is a small and safe town, close to Iaşi. Iași is the second biggest city in Romania and it is considered the cultural capital of Romania.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
Have you never participated in a long-term volunteering activity supported by the European Solidarity Corps? Do you have a minimum A2 level of English proficiency? Most importantly, do you have a passion for ART of CERAMIC? If you answered YES to these questions, we wait for your application.
