Name of the project: Šatrijos club for children and youth
Purpose of the project: The club is a perfect space for young people from 4 to 29 years old. Its friendly and professional mentors as well as administrating team are always there to help young people to develop their artistic abilities, discover enhancing projects (both national and international) and explore various means of self-expression. ”Satrija” offers its members an opportunity to participate in various activities ranging from dance, music, art, theatre, to foreign languages, martial arts, chess or yoga. Club’s vision is a modern and effective institution of non-formal education designed for children, youth and families.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/09/2019 to 30/06/2020 (10 months)

Volunteer profile:
The applicants will have to be open-minded, motivated and interested in the topics of the project, such as: – Youth and non-formal education; – Languages and communication; – Team-working and working with people from different backgrounds; – Adaptation and flexibility in order to participate in specific projects. Through doing outdoor, creative activities, communicating with youngsters, “just being” with them in non-formal space.
Accommodation and financing arrangements:
The volunteer will be hosted in flat together with other volunteers in Vilnius. Each volunteer will have their own room. A monthly bus card will be provided. Volunteers will receive food and pocket money every month.
