Purpose of project: 

This project intends to attract volunteers at the ages 18-30 who are willing to work with people with disability and the elderly.  The project aims to provide a support on subjects such as personal care, nutrition, protection of body mechanics, active and efficient aging of old people, elderly care, mental health protection, first aid, rational drug use. 

Number of volunteers: 3 volunteers between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period  – 05.04.2019 – 05.06.2019 (2 months)

Language: Turkish, English (English not obligatory but, we can prefer an English speaking volunteer for helping office tasks)

Voluntary operation time and project activities: Volunteers will work 7 hours per day. Volunteers will have a weekly schedule. By the approval of the project coordinator, this  weekly schedule can be changed if it is needed. We are looking for 3 young Azerbaijani people who want to be volunteers in Turkey for 2 months and work with people with different disabilities and the elderly. Volunteers will visit their homes and organize activities on social issues. 

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: We are looking for volunteers who have a high interest to work with individuals with disabilities and old people. Volunteers must be flexible, punctual and motivated.

Financing of the project: Each volunteer will be paid 122 € per month (pocket allowance + dinner). Charges for transportation, accommodation, electricity, water and internet will be covered by the Foundation. Sometimes meals are sent by the municipality and volunteers can get them free. 

Volunteers permissions: Volunteers will have days-off on Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays in Turkey. Volunteers are given 2 extrq days for each month they have worked. It is also possible to collect these extra days and take a vacation.
