Long-term volunteering opportunity in Romania!

Arts Lab 8.0 is looking for young artists to join an 8-month ESC volunteering project in Romania. Volunteers will work on creative projects such as art residencies, festivals, exhibitions, creative installations, and community events alongside other international artists. Throughout the project, participants will contribute to the creation of experiential museums while developing their artistic portfolio and gaining hands-on experience in community art and non-formal education.

No participation fee!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will stay in shared rooms at the project’s youth center in Târgu Frumos. Food allowance (€150/month), pocket money (€4/day), accommodation, and travel reimbursement according to ESC rules are provided.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will participate in Romanian language classes, creative workshops, non-formal education activities, and training sessions organized by the Romanian National Agency. They will also collaborate with former Arts Lab volunteers and experienced artists throughout the project.

Participant profile

The project is looking for creative and motivated young people aged 18–30 with a genuine interest in art. Applicants should have an artistic portfolio, be willing to work in an international team, contribute to community-based artistic projects, and actively participate throughout the entire project.
