The 4-day “Art Workshop”, organized and facilitated by Common Sense Youth Organization volunteers Kaan Arslantürk and Sophia Pınar Saneiy, has come to an end. Following the intensive training sessions held from July 27–30, the philosophical and digital projects created by young participants aged 15–20 were presented to the public as part of an exhibition held at the Sumgait Youth House from August 5–7.
Going beyond the boundaries of traditional art, the project provided young people with an opportunity to explore how art has developed across different cultures while also introducing them to modern digital tools. During the workshop, participants learned about the techniques of Expressionism and miniature art and transformed traditional artworks into digital formats. At the same time, they created innovative visual content using animation, video production, Artificial Intelligence tools, and Augmented Reality technologies.

Workshop facilitators Kaan Arslantürk and Sophia Pınar Saneiy on the project:
“Our goal was not only to teach young people the technical aspects of digital tools, but also to create an open platform where they could freely express their own creative ideas. The transition from traditional miniature art to AR technologies in such a short period of four days showed just how open young people are to innovation.”
During the three-day exhibition at the Sumgait Youth House, visitors had the opportunity to explore the young participants’ digital and traditional artworks, watch animations, and experience creative works brought to life through AR technology. The exhibition was free of charge and attracted significant interest from young people in Sumgait.
