A large-scale cycling ride was held in Sumgait to celebrate World Bicycle Day. The main goal of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle, environmental awareness, and active citizenship, while also contributing to the development of cycling culture in the city.
As part of another successful initiative by Common Sense Youth Organization (CSYO), nearly 80 cyclists came together to ride through the streets of Sumgait. The event marked an important step toward encouraging the use of environmentally friendly transportation and promoting a healthier, more sustainable future.

According to the organizers, the cycling ride was about much more than completing a route. It served as a shared call for greater environmental responsibility, more accessible and livable urban spaces, and the wider adoption of cycling as part of everyday life. The enthusiastic participation of cyclists once again demonstrated the growing number of young people in Azerbaijan who are committed to building a healthier and more environmentally responsible society.
Common Sense Youth Organization expresses its sincere gratitude to the Absheron-Khizi Regional Youth and Sports Department for its valuable support in organizing the event, as well as to all participants whose enthusiasm and positive energy made the cycling ride a memorable success.

The organization invites everyone to join its efforts in creating greener streets, a healthier future, and a more active urban culture.
