Common Sense Youth Organization connected with hundreds of young people at the “European Village 2026” Festival in Ganja

On 5–6 June 2026, the city of Ganja hosted the European Village 2026 festival, attracting hundreds of young people from across the region. As one of Azerbaijan’s leading youth organizations dedicated to the personal and professional development of young people, Common Sense Youth Organization (CSYO) participated in the festival with a dedicated information stand as the official Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps Information Centre in Azerbaijan.

Throughout the two-day festival, CSYO representatives and official information coordinators actively engaged with regional youth, introducing them to the wide range of educational and mobility opportunities offered by the European Union. Hundreds of visitors to the stand received practical information about international youth exchanges, short- and long-term training courses across Europe, as well as fully funded volunteering opportunities through the European Solidarity Corps.

Speaking about the event, Saadat Tahmazzade, the organization’s official representative, said:

“For us, having the opportunity to communicate directly with young people from the regions, listen to their future aspirations, and help them access international opportunities was a truly rewarding experience. The great interest in European programmes and the strong potential we witnessed in Ganja motivate us to continue expanding our work even further.”

The CSYO team also answered numerous questions about eligibility criteria, application procedures, and the benefits that participation in international programmes can bring to young people’s personal and professional development.

Over the years, Common Sense Youth Organization has earned a strong reputation through its successful initiatives promoting healthy lifestyles, inclusion, and active citizenship among young people in Azerbaijan. The organization remains committed to empowering Azerbaijani youth to become globally competitive individuals, strengthening international cooperation, and creating new development opportunities for young people, particularly those living in the regions.
