We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our cross-country skiing athletes and coaches at the Arkut Mountain Highlands, a training base surrounded by snow and nature. Tasks & Responsibilities Join and lead speaking club activities with athletes. Prepare and clean ski equipment and assist with ski maintenance. Prepare training areas (both indoor and outdoor). Support the catering service: helping with breakfast and meal distribution. Assist with logistics (including trips to the town center). Help maintain discipline and daily support for athletes living on-site. What we offer: Free skiing course and access to ski facilities. The chance to live in the mountains, in a unique sports environment. Be part of a team preparing for national competitions. Opportunity to accompany athletes and coaches to national competitions outside the city and support competition preparations there.

Important: The coordinating organization prefers volunteers with a driver license

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:

Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on the ESC distance band. Volunteers must pay for their tickets and will be refunded upon submitting all original tickets and boarding passes. Food is provided; if not, volunteers receive compensation for those days. Accommodation includes single or shared rooms with access to a washing machine, dining hall, and cafeteria. Volunteers must adhere to building rules.

Training during the activity

Orientation training after arrival (city tour, introducing the organization, show round facilities of organization, shopping place, hospital, police, and city governor) There will be a Turkish language course 1 hour per week. Also, they will participate in on-arrival training and mid-term training provided by the National Agency. In addition, in order to make their volunteering processes easier and more professional, they will receive training from experts on subjects such as language teaching and event management.

Preferably volunteers who are: • Holders of a driving license • Motivated and open to new experiences • Willing to live in a snowy highland environment • Sports fans, creative, team-oriented, and hardworking
