Activity for inclusion – volunteers task will be:

  • spending time with children and youth of immigrant families in our local community and/or other disadvantaged youth
  • playing educational games, or conducting workshops that are empowering their soft skills, such as digital competence skills etc.

Youth center – interests and needs of youth in the local community – volunteers task will be:

  • preparing and conducting activities/workshops based on their own interests and interests of local youth. For example: foreign language courses, application support for ESC, volunteering or digital competences workshops and various creative, recycling and DIY workshops.
  • participating in organisation’s events and festival.

Info Center – volunteers task will be:

  • creating promotional and informational videos, podcast about youth participation in democratic processes, empowering them to be become active in their communities and participation in the Eurodesk campaign.

Project period – 15/08/2025 to 01/07/2026

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

The Volunteer will be accommodated in a fully equipped flat with two more volunteers. You will be living in a three room flat and will all have individual rooms. The flat is fully equipped with all necessary facilities (Internet, kitchen, bathroom, heating, hot water, furniture, linen, dishes, etc.) Travel costs of the volunteer from to Croatia and back will be reimbursed in accordance with the European Commission distance calculator and European Solidarity Corps Program Guide.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:

✔ good level of English knowledge
✔ Between 18 and 30 years old
✔ willingness to learn new skills and to be creative
✔ open minded/flexible/interested
