Transport cost for Azerbaijan – 395 Euro (this cost is considered to be spent for economical and environmental tickets. It is not for personal use!)
NOTE: 100% of the accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of Erasmus+.

The project:
In the face of ongoing conflicts in Eastern Europe and South Caucasus, “Room for Peace” double-stage mobility for youth workers focuses on empowering young people to become local agents of peace. This long-term training course builds a bridge between skilled youth workers and young people, both from conflict-affected regions and developed countries, fostering mutual learning and exchange of experience. It will also strengthen peace education , conflict prevention de – radicalization in the Eastern European South Caucasus region. Our project i s designed as a long-learning process. The first stage is followed by the second one. Therefore the participation in both stages is crucial to reach the desired impact. Technical details will be shared with selected participants!
Specific Objectives:
• To empower young people to promote non-violence, intercultural understanding and civic engagement in their peer groups and communities
• To equip participants with tools and methodologies in the field
• To encourage youth participation and civil commitment in peacebuilding and conflict management
• To raise awareness on policy recommendations, non-violent communication, conflict transformation and peacebuilding on local level
• To stimulate non-formal learning techniques
• To promote the respect of diversity, intercultural, and interreligious dialogue
• To give information on Erasmus+ and EU opportunities.
Participants profile:
• Should be 18 years old or over
• Should be able to communicate in English
• Youth workers, youth leaders, counselors, trainers, and young people who are experienced in the field of peacebuilding or eager to learn, those who are working in conflict zones with local people etc., who directly work with the youth or involved in the youth sector.
• Should take part in the whole period of the training course
• Should be ready to promote activities in own community after the training course ends
• Should have good understanding of the conflicts in the region and working with people from conflict zones including refugees, IDPs, migrants
• Young people who are eager to learn about topic and raise awareness onlocal level
Venue and accommodation:
During the meeting you will be accommodated in the “Blue Whale Education Centre”. You will share rooms of 2-3 people in one room.
