The volunteer will be responsible for organizing animation missions within a consortium of personal service organizations. He will have design, organization and animation missions within structures dedicated to the elderly and young people. These missions will be focused around European citizenship and the dissemination of the feeling of belonging to the EU. The activities organized by the volunteer may therefore be similar to the following:

  • Presentation of the European Union and its institutions 
  • Presentation of the rights and duties of European citizenship 
  • Creations around European traditions 
  • Artistic workshops around European folklore 
  • Discovery of European cultures
  • European games (card and board games for people with reduced mobility, outdoor games and sports activities with children)
  • Introduction to European languages ​​(to be defined according to those mastered by the   volunteer)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

The volunteer will be accommodated free of charge in an apartment, located in the town of Plœuc-L’Hermitage. The volunteer will receive a monthly sum dedicated to his meals as well as pocket money. For transportation, the volunteer will be accommodated close to his workplace so that he can get there on foot. In addition, for his transportation arrangements, a vehicle loan option will be made available to him free of charge.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: 

✔ basic command of french is expected
✔ Between 18 and 30 years old
✔ Likes to work in a team
✔ open minded, have patience
✔ Holding a drivers license is strongly recommended
