We, at AFS Hungary, are looking for 2 international volunteers to join our Education and School Relations Team for the school year of 2024/2025. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of school relations, we are excited to welcome an enthusiastic changemaker into our team. Through this project, the chosen volunteer will visit Hungarian schools and raise awareness of the importance and advantages of intercultural learning. This will include managing the preparations of the school visits, holding 20-40 school presentations a month for a period of a school year (September to mid-June), creating visual contents for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook). The volunteer will also represent AFS at various internal events and external exhibitions/fairs and will promote the European Solidarity Corps and volunteering opportunities.

Project period – 16/09/2024 to 30/06/2025 (40 Weeks)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

The AFS Hungary Intercultural Programs Foundation will be the coordinating organisation and, among other things, in charge of all logistical matters. The organisation will provide accommodation as well as cover the cost for any travel or transportation that are done for the project. As an ESC volunteer, you will receive health insurance and a monthly allowance paid out by the AFS Hungary Intercultural Programs Foundation. You will be provided with a Coordinator and a Mentor to help you get settled.
