Purpose of the project:
The goal of the project is to bring four different personalities (volunteers) to the small town of Gulbene, Latvia, who are motivated to bring harmony and a little bit of chaos in the ordinary lives of Gulbene inhabitants, to give and get, to teach and learn and to create more opportunities for the youth. This program offers youth around the world the opportunity to meet and develop friendships. Participants can engage in a variety of workshops, discover different cultures, and organise educational activities at the youth centre. It provides a chance to build self-esteem and confidence, enhance work experience, and develop new skills and interests while supporting causes they are passionate about. By participating, they can contribute to making a positive change in their communities. The program also aims to promote and achieve the four key project priorities.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

Plane and bus tickets will be fully covered by the project financing. Accommodation is provided with overhead costs included. Accommodation details will be provided to shortlisted candidates. Travel expenses are covered with a certain limit. The volunteer’s monthly allowance includes food, pocket money and local transport
