Purpose of the project: This project aims to increase the environmental sustainability and cultural preservation of the North of Arges county through gardening, eco-tourism and community engagement initiatives. The activities will consist of volunteer-led nature cleaning actions, volunteer-assessed eco-trails, and community engagement initiatives. These activities will help to promote sustainable agriculture and tourism in the area, preserving natural resources, and raising awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. The volunteers will be trained in environmental conservation and preservation methods, ecological agriculture as well as in sustainable tourism, and will work closely with local communities and organizations.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The participant budget covers: 1. Travel costs according with the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator and based on the real travel expenses. 2. Visa Costs up to the amount of 120 EUR. 3. Full allowance of 4 EUR per day as pocket money. 4. You’ll receive 5 euro/day to cover the food and basic necessities. You will be accommodated in double rooms. Each volunteer will have individual bed and auxiliary furniture as well as access to shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, workspaces, terrace, garden, and other common facilities (to be shared with other volunteers).
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
The first month of the project serves as an orientation phase. During this time, you will receive training in several key areas: Learn to use the management tools necessary during the project; Training on how to organize, implement, assess, share, and record youth activities; You will receive access to materials that will help you plan activities. Additionally, you are expected to participate in the On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training sessions organized by the Romanian National Agency. We will also offer you mentoring and language support, along with access to various online courses.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
You are the ideal candidate for us if: You are 18-29 years old; You have medium-good English skills; You are interested in eco-farming and/or ecotourism. You are interested in working with young people (experience is a plus); You are creative, adaptable, enjoy learning new things, and can manage stress well; You have availability for a long time service (8 to 10 months).
