Purpose of the project:
Do you want to spend two months at the European Youth Educational Center in Magdeburg, Germany and be a part of a multicultural team of 15-20 young people? Are you willing to make friends with youngsters from different countries and together with them bring positive changes to the local community?
The project will be about seeing art as a tool for exploring different topics – solidarity, peace, racism, inclusion, mental health, social awareness, environment, etc. We will dive into various types of art, do workshops, create together an exhibition and explore the connection between art and mental health. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU! If you: are 18-30, outgoing and willing to enjoy the time in Germany with people from all around Europe; are interested in arts and its connection to different topics; enjoy international environment and are happy to represent your country/region; are able to decide fast whether you are ready to participate and then stick your decision
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 15/01/2022 to 11/03/2022 (2 months)
Deadline: 15th December 2021 (but can be extended till 17th December 2021 if there are still vacant positions)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
You will be accommodated at the European Youth Educational Center in a shared bedroom for the full period of your ESC volunteering team.
– As a group, you will receive a weekly allowance for food and cooking together. Sometimes, there will be food provided.
– 5 EUR pocket money per day
– travel reimbursement (arrive and depart to the project) up to a fixed amount
– local transportation: weekly ticket allowance and possibility to use bike
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
– open to try out new and creative art forms
– open to share newly gained knowledge with youngsters from Magdeburg area
– aged: 18-30
– motivated to be part of a team experience
– able to work by yourself and in a team
– able to take care of yourself (cleaning the room, general grooming and hygiene)
