Purpose of the project: 

The Centre Français de Berlin (CFB) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to contribute to international understanding in the fields of youth, education and culture in line with the European idea. The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) gives young people the opportunity to gain experience and acquire new skills, which are acknowledged and can facilitate the choice of a profession or the search for a job. Volunteer missions are neither salaried activities nor voluntary actions; above all, they require a strong social commitment. The CFB offers a voluntary service in the framework of the ESC for a period of 12 months, 30h/week from September/October 2021 on in one of these fields : – Cultural and artistic programmation – The organisation of international exchange projects for young people and professionals – Promoting professional mobility and supporting young people in their project in the partner country.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period – 01/09/2021 to 30/11/2022 (1 year during this period)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

You will receive a monthly financial support, and will be responsible for your accommodation, food and transports. The CFB Team helps willingly with finding an accommodation.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: 

– You are between 18 and 30 – You never took part in the ESC before – You are available for the whole period of the volunteering year – You speak German and/or French – You are interested in cultural, intercultural and social projects and wish to support this dynamics – You wish to gain experience in the international work with young people – You wish to be involved and give your own inputs in local based events – You wish to work in a young, intercultural and committed team
