Short term ESC project in Italy!

Location: Palermo, Italy

Name of project: EVA – Short-term volunteering in youth centre Centro TAU

Hosting Organization: Associazione “Inventare Insieme (onlus)

Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization

Purpose of the project: Volunteer will support the daily activities of the organization during “tempo d’estate”, summer activities aimed at the children (6-10 years) and teenagers in the youth center. These may include: • to support socio-animation activities (such as psycho-motor games) • to accompany children and kids during excursion or city tour • to support creative workshops (media – photo and video -, English language, recycling etc.) • share testimonies about volunteering experience by: updating the volunteers’ blog

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 22-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period  – 09/07/2019 to 08/08/2019 (1 month)

Accommodation, financement and practical arrangements:

Volunteer will be hosted in double-room shared with another volunteer. Flat consists of 3 double rooms, 1 single room, common living room, kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms. This is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Accommodation is located in city centre, and well connected with public transportation. Local transport: 1-month bus pass Individual support: monthly cash allowance Food: monthly cash allowance Travel costs (outward and return): covered up to budget limit (according to distance band calculator)

Age between 22 and 30 years • passion in working with children and young people • ability to team working, open-minded, sociable • creativity, proactivity, flexibility • artistic or digital skills are welcome • knowledge of Italian language is welcome.
