Transport cost for Azerbaijan – 309 Euro (this cost is considered to be spent for economical and environmental tickets. It is not for personal use!)

NOTE: 100% of the accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of Erasmus+.

Specific Objectives:

  • Raise Disaster Awareness
    -Teach basic risk reduction, first aid, and emergency response.
    -Use trainings, simulations, and campaigns to promote preparedness.
  • Build Community Support
    -Encourage teamwork, trust, and helping each other in crises.
    -Form small volunteer groups for quick response.
  • Strengthen Local Response Skills
    -Give tools and simple training to youth and community leaders.
    -Practice how to act together during an emergency.’
  • Promote Everyday Resilience
    -Share coping methods and psychosocial support activities.
    -Include resilience in schools, workplaces, and daily life.
  • Support Vulnerable Groups
    -Focus on children, elderly, people with disabilities, and patients.
    -Ensure gender equality and inclusivity in disaster planning.
  • Create Lasting Impact
    -Develop youth-led action plans to continue after the project.
    -Share results and good practices with other groups

Participants profile:

  •  Background & Experience:
    -Young people motivated to learn about disaster preparedness, community solidarity, and volunteering.
    -Both those with prior volunteering/NGO experience and first-time participants interested in social responsibility.
    -Participants from both urban and rural areas to reflect diverse risk awareness and coping strategies.
  • Personal Qualities:
    -Open-minded,adaptable and willing to engage in teamwork,simulations and outdoor activities.
    -Interested in developing skills like leadership, problem-solving, and communication.
    -Ready to contribute actively to workshops, campaigns, and community solidarity initiatives.
  • Inclusivity & Diversity:
    -Priority given to participants from disadvantaged backgrounds (economically limited, geographically isolated, fewer opportunities).
    -Ensuring inclusion of gender balance, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups where possible.
    -Encouraging representation of different cultural and social backgrounds to enrich learning.
  • Expected Role of Participants:
    -Take part in trainings, simulations, and awareness campaigns.
    -Share knowledge with peers and community after the project (acting as local multipliers).
    -Build solidarity networks and be part of a sustainable youth-led volunteer group for disaster resilience
