Long-term volunteering opportunity in Bulgaria

Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization

The main activities of the volunteers will be: working in eco center “Green Europe”, collecting plastic caps and bottles for the campaigns of the organization, shooting and filming videos and “acting” or being a model, creating art installations, design and art (creating posters or acting…), writing articles for the youth website theyouth.info, taking part in the “Rose Festival” 2027, organizing an Eco Academy for kids, and working in the Museum of Bai Ganio that the organization has. The volunteers will regularly work with the organization in local institutions such as the municipality, library, elderly house, daily care center for kids with disabilities, and museums to prepare workshops, presentations, and other events for the local community.

All the volunteers will live in and share an apartment with other volunteers. There are two bedrooms, a common bathroom, a living room, and a small kitchen. In case something is damaged or broken, the repair costs will be shared equally among all volunteers. The financial support in the form of pocket money is EUR 7 per day. The food allowance is EUR 150 per month. The pocket money will be given to each volunteer at the beginning of every month. The food allowance will be provided at the end of every month. The financial support includes weekends, holidays, and vacation (20 days for the whole period).
