The offers are aimed at all young people between 18 and 25, regardless of their biological or social gender, class, ideology, religious affiliation, nationality, language or state of health. We create social and cultural spaces in which young people can develop their identity, personality and relationships. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in our various youth services, different projects that are developed and carried out in a participatory manner with the youngsters; topics are for example: democracy, anti-racism, gender sensitive youth work, health and wellbeing, food + cooking, urban gardening, street work, sports, art projects, outdoor activities, and lots more.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
As a volunteer, you will live in a student housing where also other residents with different backgrounds live. You will have a room with bathroom on your own and share a kitchen with the other residents. You will receive your food- and pocket money always in the beginning of the month. The infrastructure with trains and buses is easy, quick and frequent. Also you will have a bicycle at your disposal and you will receive a ticket for free use of any public transport in the whole region of Vorarlberg during the complete project time.
Training during the activity
The volunteer will have following trainings and opportunities: – On-arrival Training; organised by the NA Austria – Midterm-Meeting; organised by the NA Austria – German course; organised by the supporting/coordinating organisation – Regular evaluation meetings together with the supporting/coordinating organisation – Regular meetings with your mentor in the hosting organisation.
Participant profile
Our volunteers should like to work with young people and should be interested in different youth cultures, music, sports, night life and youth centre work. They should be interested in caring for young people and be prepared to take the initiative to get in contact with them. They should be flexible and be willing to take part in different kinds of projects. Since our opening hours are mainly in the afternoons, evenings and on weekends they should be prepared to work late hours and work on weekends as well. The volunteer will have two consecutive days off during the week.
