The “You Future” project is an ESC team volunteering project supported by the European Commission. In each team, 10 young volunteers will participate in a 30-day volunteering program, receiving training on key topics such as disaster preparedness, climate change, post-disaster recovery, and community resilience. These trainings will be supported by various workshops, seminars, field visits, and group activities, fostering cooperation among volunteers. Volunteers will organize training sessions, events, and campaigns for local children, young people, and adults, sharing the knowledge they have gained with the community. These activities aim to raise public awareness, create a more disaster-prepared society, and strengthen intercultural dialogue.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Volunteers will share an apartment in Sorgun with double rooms, bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. Accommodation will be provided by the SORGED coordination organization. You will live together with other ESC volunteers, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the project. The apartment will be equipped with kitchen utensils and internet access, allowing volunteers to meet their daily needs conveniently. As part of the project, volunteers will receive: ✅€6 per day as pocket money ✅€6 per day as a food allowance Additionally, travel costs will be reimbursed based on the travel
Training during the activity

Participant profile
**Volunteers participating in the program should have the following qualifications:** ✅ Being culturally engaged, creative, active, and open-minded ✅ Being team-oriented, responsible, and open to new experiences ✅ Having sufficient English language skills to communicate effectively ✅ Being solution-oriented, tolerant, organized, and compliant with organizational rules ✅ Willing to volunteer in the community and take responsibility ✅ Open to learning, training, and new experiences **Special Interests and Experiences** ✅ Knowledgeable or eager to learn about disaster preparedness and climate change
