Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
You will share an apartment in Sorgun with double rooms, bathrooms and a kitchen where you can eat. Accommodation is provided by the SORGED coordination organization. You will live in the apartment together with other ESC volunteers. Volunteers’ houses will have kitchen utensils and internet. In accordance with the rules of the Turkish National Agency, volunteers will receive a daily pocket money of 5 euros and a 6 euro meal allowance. Your traveling expenses will be calculated according to km. (https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator)
Training during the activity
During the opportunity, volunteers will receive both orientation and topic-based trainings. At the beginning, an on-arrival training will be provided to introduce the project, the hosting organisation, safety rules, and local culture. Throughout the project, volunteers will take part in non-formal learning workshops on sports, healthy lifestyle, art, entrepreneurship, disaster management, environment, and youth work. In addition, they will join language support sessions, intercultural learning activities, and skills development trainings.
