Long-Term Volunteering Project in France!

Project name: International Mobility Ambassador

Purpose of the project: – To promote the European Solidarity Corps and the European mobility schemes to different audiences (schoolchildren, high school students, university students, young people, services of the City of Chambéry)
– To participate in the design and implementation of information, awareness-raising, and dialogue activities and events in Europe (workshops, webinars, debates, educational activities, cultural and festive events, etc.), particularly to promote knowledge of international mobility. The events will be held face-to-face and online, for the general public and schoolchildren, in conjunction with the partners involved (cities of Grenoble and Annecy)
– To support the organization of international events that bring the city of Chambéry together, in particular, the Marché des Continents
– To support the animation of social networks, the website, and newsletters, communicating in particular on international mobility with testimonies of young people (Interviews from 03.07 to 04.07).
Volunteers between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – A total of 43 week(s) during the period 01/10/2024 to 31/07/2025

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Accommodation will be provided for the volunteer. They will be accommodated in a furnished room or studio in a residence close to their workplace and to the city center, easily accessible by bus. Furthermore, the volunteer will be provided with a transport card for travel. The volunteer will be provided with a transportation card for travel. Concordia will provide to the volunteer with a monthly food allowance (9.00€/day) + pocket money (7.00 €/day).

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
– Interest in international youth mobility and European issues
– Knowledge of the ERASMUS+ program and the ESC would be a plus
– Ability to adapt to a new environment – Ability to take initiative
– Ability to work in a team and in partnership but also independently
– Good interpersonal skills
– Digital skills (communication, social networks)
– A basic knowledge of French is recommended (to facilitate the integration process) Level A2 or B1
