Volunteer works there 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day. Additionally, volunteers participate in activities prepared by Internationaler Bund Polska, which is a coordinating organization. If you are interested in the project, please read this offer carefully, because we contact only candidates who follow the steps and one of them is to fill out the form for candidates here(click the link).

Volunteers between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period A total of 43 week(s) during the period 02/09/2024 to 30/06/2025

Deadline: 14/06/2024

Please get a registration number, and apply through the European Youth Portal (click the link).

A CV is required in order to apply for this opportunity.

All volunteers will stay in the flats rented by Internationaler Bund Polska, especially for our ESC volunteers. We usually have 2-bed rooms with spacious kitchen and bathroom. Volunteers receive pocket money and food allowance every month. Volunteers get monthly cards that allow them to use public transportation (buses and trams) inside the city as well as outside if they work in one of the schools near Krakow.

Before arriving in Poland each volunteer should be prepared for the project by his/her sending organization. This pre-departure training is an obligatory part of preparation. After coming to Poland all volunteers are involved in workshops about communication, ICL, and Polish culture and history. There are also 2 obligatory pieces of training provided by the Polish National Agency: on-arrival training in the first weeks of the project and mid-term evaluation in the middle. All volunteers meet regularly each month. There is also a space for training proposed by volunteers

We are not looking for volunteers with a particular skill or educational level, sex, or religion. We need volunteers who are motivated to work with children and contribute to the local community and ready to share their culture and experiences with others. Each volunteer is a part of a bigger international group of people from different countries, so it’s important to be open-minded and tolerant towards countries and cultures. That’s what is the other core of our projects, too! Because this project is really not easy, the experience of working with disabled people is welcomed.
