Purpose of the project: Are you someone who is interested in non-formal education for kids,organisation of cultural events or social media & project curating?We are looking for 6 participants this spring! In EDUCATION work you will initiate non-formal education: language classes for kids, classes on human rights, ecology, etc. and share the knowledge of your native culture! In LOCAL COMMUNITY work, you will have the opportunity to work with the community of one of Poznań’s districts, Co creation of local cultural, artistic and social events, taking care of Przystanek Pireus, contact with artists and activists, promotion, keeping photographic and administrative documentation for social media. In OFFICE WORK you will dive into the administrative aspects such as managing, monitoring, and reporting on a project and social media

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: We offer our volunteers monthly 1100 PLN for pocket and food money, and reimbursement of travel expenses within ESC limits. Accommodation is provided in a student dormitory called Jurand. Dom studencki Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego in the central part of Poznań so all workplaces can be reached easily. You will stay in a shared or individual room with wifi, fridges and bedsheets. The dormitory includes a common kitchen and bathroom. In the close area there are shops, supermarkets, green zone. Our organisation will provide local transportation card and transport is well organised here

Training during the activity: At the beginning of the volunteers’ stay we will organise an orientation introduction to discover our organisation, its values, people that volunteers will work with, projects and work’s methodology. Participation in on-arrival and mid term evaluation trainings organised by Polish National Agency for all the international volunteers coming to Poland. You will also have support from other young volunteers, work mentor, experienced organisation team and psychologist if needed.

Participant Profile: The volunteer should to be enthusiastic,active, with some experience in these fields or strongly motivated to learn. The participant should either be interested in providing non-formal education,organisation of cultural events or social media & project curating.The volunteer will communicate in English, so speaking and understanding the English language is important.
