Long term volunteering project in Spain!

Project name: Socio-educational volunteering and technical IT support

Purpose of the project: We are looking for two volunteers to participate in two projects of two member organisations of our network: One person for giving technical support within the IT department of one of our organisations. Among other tasks, he/she would help with the formatting of work equipment and delivery or installations at the different workstations and would carry out automation and robotisation with PowerApps. For the other volunteer, the main tasks would be to participate in the programming, implementation and evaluation of socio-educational workshops and community participation activities. The workshops and activities are framed within the following topics: personal and social development, educational promotion and job orientation, integral health, families, leisure and free time.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/12/2023 to 31/08/2024 (39 weeks)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: We will inform you of the maximum budget for your flight tickets. Once we have the invoice and boarding pass, we will refund you the amount spent. The accommodation is your choice but we will help you find the best option. Your budget for food and pocket money is transferred to you on a monthly basis.
Training during the activity: Upon arrival, you will have a welcome training to lay the necessary basis for the development of your volunteering experience. Throughout the project you will receive Spanish classes, you will participate in the training that European Solidarity Corps organises for volunteers in Spain, and you will receive constant support and monitoring from your tutor to ensure that you get the most out of this experience.
Participant Profile: We are looking for people who are curious, interested in learning new things, able to interact with people from different cultures and perspectives, understanding the needs of others and being ready to support them. With good communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, their participation in this project requires basic knowledge of computer tools, skills to develop creative ideas, to organise tasks according to deadlines, with an interest in non-formal education and active citizenship.
