Purpose of the project: The most important goal of the project is to provide opportunities for meeting, common actions and development for young people from different countries in the space of Polish institutions working in the field of kids and youth education. Each of 4 volunteers will work in one daily care center (from Monday to Friday). Volunteer activities may vary depending on the center, but their common fields will be: organization of free time for school children and/or youth (eg. sport, games, computer classes, art classes, etc.), learning support, helping in preparing meals, organizing activities connected to volunteer country, supporting the staff in planned activities (specific workshops, projects, special celebrations, going outs in Krakow). Common activities planned: intercultural workshops, inter-center cooperation, short-term stays outside of Krakow (winter camps).
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/10/2023 to 31/03/2024 (6 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Practical arrangements and support for the volunteer will be ensured by the lead organization – Youth Development and Integration Association STRIM. Volunteers will live with other volunteers in the apartment in Krakow and will be provided with: a place in a room, transportation card for the city, money for alimentation and pocket money. The language support will also be provided. In addition, each of the volunteers can count on the support of individual mentors who will help in the process of adaptation to the new environment and culture.

We want to welcome to this project young people with open minds, creative, patient, willing to share their cultures, passions and motivated to work with children and youth on a daily basis. It is imperative to know that the most important thing is to ensure children’s safety and the best conditions for their development. No additional professional experience is required to participate in this project.
