Purpose of the project: Youths have the opportunity to assist and support the rehabilitation, care, and support of abandoned and abused animals in Malta. This activity embraces the values of solidarity, respect for life, and the belief that fairness, solidarity, and equality prevail. The protection and safekeeping of animals promotes ESC solidarity values to support and collaborate, in this case within the remit of animal welfare.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 20-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/09/2023 to 30/09/2024 (12 months)

Accommodation, food, and transport arrangements:
Volunteers will have a private bedroom with access to a bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen to enable them to cook their meals. MCVS will be collaborating with participants every month in order to ensure that groceries are available and that they have a diverse range of food. MCVS will ensure that public transportation is accessible and in the proximity of the lodging area as well as the activity locations. MCVS will also provide the participants with pocket money and give them all the practical information when it comes to living in Malta.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
We are looking for volunteers who love animals and who are capable of working in a team with a positive attitude. Volunteers are required to be able to communicate in English and wake up early.
