Purpose of the project: The Amerlinghaus is a center that hosts a number of NGO´s in the cultural and social field. The Kindergruppe is organized and run by parents. It hosts up to 13 children between the ages of 3 to 6. Pedagogical work follows the principles of Maria Montessori and Rebecca Wild. Through our activities, children shall be supported in their social, motoric, cognitive, creative and emotional intelligence and find the space to grow themselves. As a volunteer, you will support the staff with daily activities. You are granted the opportunity to improve your language skills and to get important insights into the work with children. You will support our kindergarten teachers with their work, especially when the group is having lunch or they go out to playgrounds, museums and so on. And we want to encourage you to share your cultural backgrounds with us.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/10/2023 to 31/07/2024 (10 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
You will be provided with a ticket for the public transport in Vienna. You will receive pocket money and a monthly food allowance. You will stay in a single room at a flat or student dorm, sharing facilities like kitchen and bathroom with others.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
As a volunteer, you should be interested in and willing to work with children. No further skills or experiences are required. Be able to speak, read and write in English (at least B1); preferable you have German language skills too, any other language skills are beneficial.
