Volunteering project in France! 

Location: Saint-Brieuc, France

Project name: ESC in the Federation of Youth and Culture Houses in Brittany

Hosting organization: Fédération des MJC

Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization

Purpose of the project: The volunteering project will take place in the fédération of Youth and Culture Houses. The office is located in Saint-Brieuc, but for realizing the mission you will have to travel around Brittany or France. The missions: Raising awareness in favor of interculturality – Create intercultural animation (games, présentation, non-formal learning) for young people, and professionals. – Working on educational tools on Sexuality / Gender (K’est’en sexe ?), Discrimination (Non à la Haine) , and Media and Information literacy (DES-INFOX). – Create a personal project: The volunteer will be fully integrated into the team and their missions will be supervised by the educational coordinator.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period – 06/09/2023 to 31/08/2024 (12 months)

Accommodation, food, and transport arrangements:

The volunteer will live with other volunteers in a shared accommodation. They will have their own bedroom, but the kitchen, living room, and bathroom will be shared. Internet connection in the accommodation will be provided. Local transportation costs are covered (the volunteer will receive a bus card). The food will be covered by the indemnity allocated to the volunteer.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:

Our only criteria is motivation: the desire to live an intercultural experience and the will to work with people (teenagers, young adults, and professionals). We do not require any previous experience in this field or any language competence but the volunteer should be at ease in expressing him/herself and willing to meet other people.
