Purpose of the project: The main objective of the project is to promote cohesion at the local level but also with young people from different countries, as well as to promote solidarity through direct work with the aforementioned groups. The impact created by hosting international youth enhances and fosters youth participation in democratic and civic life, and connects young people across the European Union and beyond to drive voluntary engagement, mobility in learning, solidarity and real intercultural understanding. Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 29/05/2023 to 30/05/2024 (12 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
5€ of pocket money is given/day. Maintenance is a total of €150 per month and at the moment we manage it. They tell us what they want and we put together the online shopping list. The place of the house is in Jesús, a district of the city of Tortosa (it is 20 minutes by public transport, 40 minutes on foot and 20 minutes by bicycle). We provide bus cards that they have to load with their money (€5 – 10 trips) + bicycles. The house has a total of 5 shared rooms with 2, 3 and 4 bunk beds. There are 3 toilets + 3 shared showers and two individual toilets. It has all the comforts of a house and the necessary utensils. It also has many garden spaces, a smoking area, an orchard and a swimming pool (it is not known if it will be enabled).
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
A young person between 18-30 years old from one of the participating countries that have an interest in the topics of the project, sustainable living, community life, solidarity, and basic skills in graphic design because most of the entities will also need help with social media management. A volunteer who is open-minded, flexible, willing to cooperate off-hours in other activities, clearly understands the concept of being a volunteer.
