Transport cost for Azerbaijan – 360 Euro (this cost is considered to be spent for tickets which is economic and environmental. It is not for personal use!)

Important note: Our project is designed as a long-learning process. The 1st stage is followed by the 2nd stage. Therefore, the participation in both stages is crucial to reach the desired impact! Technical details will be shared with selected participants!

NOTE: 100% of the accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of Erasmus+.

The project:

This project will let youth workers actively working with young people  discover outdoor education specifically as a tool for stress-management. and develop their competencies to apply new gained knowledge in their practices especially in relation to supporting mental health among youth as a way to address the challenges of nowadays

Accordingly, the project pursues the following objectives: 
– Discover outdoor and experiential learning, their historical perspective, principles and models
– To give the participants an opportunity to directly experience various outdoor methods and techniques
– Identify the stress factors which influence youth and youth workers in partner countries
– To train youth workers in using stress-management tools in youth work in different contexts
– Provide educators with the outdoor tools for stress-management among youth
 
The same group of participants are supposed to attend 2 training courses:
Activity 1: Labirint 3.0 : a path to self-care – YOU – a training course where the participants will discover what outdoor is, how it can be used for stress-management, try out different methods and tools and acquire a set of competencies needed for a youth worker when working with outdoor activities for stress-relief.  SONDERHAUSEN, GERMANY 14-21 April 2023

Activity 2: Local phase: participants will be invited to organise local workshops in their countries where they try out outdoor education methods in their work. 

Activity 3: Labirint 3.0 : a path to self-care – YOUTH– a seminar where the participants will focus on the ways of incorporating outdoor education values and methodology as a stress-management tool for working with youth, share best and worst practices from their experience (local phase) and reflect on the ways of ensuring quality in outdoor educational activities.REUNION ISLAND, FRANCE  12-18 OCTOBER 2023

Participants profile

We invite participants who are involved in social and youth projects, initiatives and programs in various forms. Participants  are expected to have the following profile:

– Should be 18 years old or over

– Should be able to communicate in English

– Should take part in the whole period of the training course

– Should be ready to promote activities in own community after the training course ends

– Selected participants are in charge of organising a local event (seminar, workshop etc) for own community within the month and a half after the training course comes to an end

– Selected participants are in charge of dissemination and visibility activities of the project
