Transport cost for Azerbaijan – 330 Euro (this cost is considered to be spent for flight tickets which is economic and environmental. It is not for personal use!)

NOTE: 100% of the accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of Erasmus+.

The project: 

The main aim of the project is to create a more active, empathetic and truly inclusive society by using methods of personal development, outdoors education and inclusive learning. The first stage (Czech Republic) will focus on the personal development and the practical aspects of inclusion. The second stage (Georgia) will focus on personal development and aspects of supporting young people in local communities as well as introducing outdoor education tools to be implemented in mixed ability groups. Both stages focus on involving youth workers with special needs – visual impairments, especially the newcomers to youth work.

  • to assist youth with visual impairments to gain the necessary self-trust to become more independent, expressive and active members of society
  • to to stimulate the self-development process of participants
  • to become aware of their own leadership potential
  • to improve communication skills
  • to promote inclusive learning and equal participation in youth work
  • to decrease the conscious and unconscious disabilism in youth work
  • to develop skills of teamwork in mixed-ability groups 
  • to provide youth workers with the experience implementing concrete outdoor education activities 
  • to raise self-confidence, sense of independence and employability of both visually impaired youth and youth workers

Participants profile:

Each country will send 6 participants

– 2 participants with visual impairment

– 2 accompanying persons

– 2 participants with fewer opportunities

  • At least 18 years old
  • Basic English
  • Youth workers, educators, youngsters and young people – with visual impairments
  • Interested in the topics of inclusion, empowerment, disability and motivated to actively participate
