Transport cost for Azerbaijan (this cost means that your ticket will be reimbursed within this limit and you are responsible to buy your tickets and after you will be reimbursed within the limit): – 180 Euro
NOTE: 100% of the accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of Erasmus+. Health insurance won’t be provided and needs to be purchased individually.

The project aims to foster transnational partnerships for youth-led community development driven by local and international youth stakeholders who are committed to a youth-centred approach to education, participation and cooperation.
The key objectives of the project:
- To enhance the competences of youth workers and young community leaders to empower youn people to actively engage in processes of community development
- To foster a trans-European dialogue on approaches, means and practices for youth-led communit development
- To strengthen transnational partnerships and cooperation for youth-led community development, youth participation and the promoting of local and international volunteering
In order to reach those objectives, the project is composed of three distant learning courses and three study visits (6 working days each) to the South Caucasus which offer to chance to get a first- hand experience of local youth realities, meet local youth workers, organisations and public bodies and explore practices and approaches used at the grass-root to foster youth participation.
The project shall result in the following:
– Competence development of 72 youth workers and young community leaders in yout empowerment for youth-led community development
– Publication of a hands-on handbook and resource pack on successful practices for youth-le community development
– Triggering at least fifteen local and transnational initiatives for youth-led communit development in the participating countries
Participants’ profile:
- Be actively involved youth empowerment work – as an educator, project manager, volunteer etc. – on local level in their communities
- Have a basic understanding of community development approaches and practices
- Good knowledge of the community development challenges and the situation of young people in their community
- Curiosity and willingness to understand the youth sector in the South Caucasus from a grassroot perspective
- Willingness and readiness to engage into an intense and highly intercultural learning process
- Ability to communicate in English
- Willingness and availability to fully participate in the project activitiese
