Transport cost for Azerbaijan (this cost means that your ticket will be reimbursed within this limit and you are responsible to buy your tickets and after you will be reimbursed within the limit): 100€

Background: challenges in the youth sector: Lack of opportunities for:
• knowledge transfers especially in regards to youth work methodologies and tools, types and forms of youth activities fostering youth participation at community level
• youth organisations to network and actively shape cooperation projects with other youth stakeholders, especially but not only, for new-comers in international mobility programmes
Objectives:
• Exploring innovative and alternative youth work and youth activities successfully applied by other organisations and stakeholders to foster youth participation • Developing needs-based follow-up projects and initiatives fostering youth participation and active citizenship at local level in Europe and the Eastern Partnership region • Strengthening cooperation networks and partnerships among youth stakeholders from the EU and the EECA region, including cross-sectorial partnerships, fostering youth participation
Aims:
• fostering youth participation and civic engagement • contribute to networking of youth actors • to support their activities by giving them space for mutual inspiration of different youth work approaches and methods • as well as providing them space and opportunities to build fruitful partnership between the Eastern and Western edges of Europe •
Core activities: providing opportunities for:
• Strengthening partnerships with youth organisations based in the EU and the Eastern partnership region • Transferring knowledge, which will benefit mostly but not only the youth workers and organisations that are less experienced and those based in the Eastern Partnership region • Enabling an exchange of practices and ideas among youth workers with a diverse range of profile and backgrounds • Enhancing the competences and skills of members and personnel of youth organisations to develop needs-based projects and initiatives effectively responding to the needs of young people • Strengthening inclusive approaches in youth work in order to reach out better youth with fewer opportunities into organisations’ activities and processes •
Activity 1: Preperation – online (June)
4-week preparation including following topics: youth work, youth participation and active citizenship – inputs and building a common understanding – individual reflection and sharing on youth work practices in own organization – preparation tasks related to the organisations fair and sharing best practices during the PBA seminar in order to optimize the time used during the PBA – an introduction to the Erasmus+ programme for those participants who are newcomers
Activity 2: Seminar – Kobuleti, Georgia (09-16 July)
A Partnership-Building Seminar with following objectives: To build or strengthen existing partnerships with youth organisations – To enable an exchange of practices and ideas among youth workers with a diverse range of profile and backgrounds – To enhance the competences and skills of members and personnel of youth organisations to develop needs-based projects and initiatives effectively responding to the needs of young people – To strengthen inclusive approaches in youth work in order to reach out better youth with fewer opportunities into organisations’ activities and processes
Activity 3: Follow-up and dissemination – partner organisation’s country (August-October)
In cooperation with the partner organisation each participant undertakes dissemination activities at local level and is invited to share the narrative report of the PBA within their local and international networks.
Who does fit this project? You do if you …
• have a good command of English to be able to fully participate;
• work directly with youth such as youth workers, counsellors, trainers, coach, etc. OR
• work as an administrative support staff in designing, managing, monitoring or evaluation youth programmes, projects or activities involving and targeting young people OR
• work as an employee or a regular volunteer and remain in the organisation for at least 6 months after the youth workers mobility;
• have a good understanding of the local socio-economy especially regarding the reality and challenges faced by youth including marginalised and discriminated youth;
• share and contribute own understanding of youth work, methodologies and tools applied in own work, etc.;
• want to get inspired by youth work methodologies and tools from other contexts and to apply those in own context;
• plan to launch, develop or scale-up international youth project in the frame of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps especially in partnership with organisations from the Eastern Partnership region
