Purpose of the project:

Seeds of Solidarity is a 10-month volunteering project, where 10 international volunteers work together in the rural area of Hungary. Living together in Szécsény, a small town in one of the disadvantaged areas of the countryside, volunteers work with schools and youth centres and deliver English-speaking, non-formal education sessions for children and youth with fewer opportunities. Our participants will contribute to our mission, and create equal opportunities to children and youth to increase the quality of their lives. During the project volunteers discover the field of their interest and have the opportunity to develop their own initiatives. Volunteers also assist Egyesek Youth Association at training and summer camps, and may be involved in other administrative tasks, while taking part in a high quality learning process.
