Purpose of the project: 

The Agile School offers an alternative and engaging learning environment based on trust. We are a social and solidarity association where children learn at their own pace, developing their individual talents and skills. The volunteer will be asked to: 

– organise workshops based on their interests and skills (for example: sport, IT, geography, languages…) 

– help children, aged 5 to 19, with individual learning 

– resolve conflicts through mediations 

– take part in the vegetable permaculture garden 

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period – 10/01/2022 to 09/01/2023 (12 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements: 

Accomodation : Perpignan (prefecture of the department) in an apartment, shared with two other European volunteers. located near a bus stop. 

Food : Allowance (fixed price of 7€/day). 

Transport : Sustainable mobility will be favoured. For local transport annual transport cards. Pocket money : (fixed price of 6€/day) by secured transfer (bank account) 

Other information : 32h/week. The school is closed on Wednesdays and school holidays.

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering: 

We are looking for someone who speaks English and preferably some French. The volunteer must be open-minded, tolerant and caring with others. Experience or ease with children is required. It is important that volunteers share our principles and respect people’s differences: religion, gender, culture, ethny and sexual orientation.
