Purpose of the project:
Dear Volunteers, we offer you an unique volunteering opportunity in our youth club Blaupause in Neuenhagen (near Berlin) with an overall duration of 12 months from 01/10/2021 until the 30/09/2022. The purpose of the project is to take care of children and youths in the youth club, usually in the afternoon, and to support our social workers. Typical tasks are the following: open assistance services for youths, playing ping-pong and various (board) games, soccer, volleyball and table football, holding conversations, handicraft work, testing and presenting new games, presenting the own country, cooking together, learning languages by playing, drawing, organizing discos for youths and organising hikes, supporting the staff with different content, creating posters and flyers etc. The daily routine is structured as follows: Morning: free. Afternoon: open venue work, open offers, assistance, support. Evening: cooking, support on projects, events, etc.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/10/2021 to 30/09/2022 (12 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
The volunteer will be offered a room in one of our apartments in the city of Berlin. Also the total travel grant is 275 Euro for coming to and leaving Germany and the total pocket money for the whole 12 months is 1825 Euro. The volunteer also gets a food allowance of approx. 8 Euro per day. For the Online Linguistic Support (OLS) the total grant is 150 Euro. The volunteer gets a ticket very month for the public transport in Berlin and near surroundings.

If you are an open minded person who enjoys working with children and youth in a creative atmosphere you are welcome in our youth club. Any age, gender or origin is kindly welcomed and can contact us. Please note that a minimum knowledge of the German language is desired.
