Purpose of the project
1. Inclusion of young people: accompanying young people who wish to carry out a European voluntary service. Raising awareness about interculturality, autonomy and socio-professional integration. Helping to write CVs and cover letters in English, researching and studying the offers of missions proposed on the website, preparing interviews, and conversations in English.
2. Sustainable development: protection of ecological balance and promotion of responsible consumption (design and implementation of exhibitions, environmental awareness through workshops and thematic outings).
3. Reduction of inequalities in terms of the digital division: digital support for targeted groups (families, elderly people, travellers, migrants, whether or not they speak English, schoolchildren) in terms of access to tools such as videoconferencing, teleworking, online procedures, medical appointments, mailboxes…).
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/10/2021 to 31/12/2022 (1 year during this period)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Accommodation and transport will be provided by the City Hall as well as part of the food costs. Volunteers will be accommodated in fully equipped individual flats. Part of food costs will be covered. A transport card will be provided for travel within the Nantes metropolitan area.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
We are looking for motivated participants to get involved in a solidarity project. We do not require volunteers to know French, but they should be able to communicate in English. We also give priority to young people who want to get involved in projects related to youth, environmental public policy and the reduction of the digital divide.
