Long term volunteering project in Norway!
Location: Vevelstad, Norway
Project name: Experience volunteering in a small town nearby the polar circle
Hosting organization: Vevelstad Frivilligsentral
Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization
Purpose of the project: “The only limitation is your own imagination” Come and help us out on the voluntary central, we’re in need of some extra hands and brains! The main goal will be working with and for the local youth and organize different kind of activities, both indoors and outdoors. Support the local youth council in their political work and environmental projects. You will also be working with and for the elderly. We can offer a wide range of possibilities for personal growth! Learn the Norwegian language and the way of living in one of Norway’s smallest municipalities located way up north. The program covers all your expenses! We have a Facebook-page called EVS Vevelstad, where you can send a message or post questions. We are looking forward to future volunteers and welcome you with warm hospitality.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/08/2021 to 31/07/2022 (1 year)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Accommodation will partly be with a host family, and partly you’ll live in your own apartment which you share with the other volunteer. Transport to/from work will be arranged. Accommodation, food, pocket money and transport arrangements will be covered by European Solidarity Corps funding.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
We look for open minded and positive people, who are willing to share from their own hobbies, passions and experiences. We prefer if you can share with us some of your skills in music, film/photography, arts, dance, theater, cooking, sports etc. etc. Do you enjoy wild nature and have no problems with sometimes harsh weather-conditions?
