Long term volunteering project in Romania!

Project name: Youth Centres UP 2 – long term volunteering

Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization
Purpose of the project: „Youth Centres Up 2” is a long-term ESC project for 10 volunteers, a project of 12 months about social inclusion, human rights, solidarity, about YOU working shoulder to shoulder with FITT’s team, getting familiar with youth work and the general functioning of youth NGOs. After the largest volunteering project in Europe, Youth Centres UP, in which 5 youth centers were set up in the neighbourhoods of Timisoara, we are now looking for 10 volunteers with the desire to develop their skills in organising, implementing and coordinating different activities for youth. Your main aim as a volunteer will be to engage the community and to organize events and activities for youth in the youth centers. Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/07/2020 to 31/07/2021 (1 year)

No participation fee!
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Accommodation will be in the Youth House, in rooms with two beds and own bathroom. The volunteers will receive 5 euros/day as food allowance and 3 euros/day as pocket money. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC distance band.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
The volunteers we are looking for should be: • From 18 to 30 years old; • Happy to work with youth; • Fluent in English; • Excited to develop new skills in organizing, implementing and coordinating different activities; • Brave enough to move for one year in another country.
