Project name: Volunteering in Human Rights Education program

Purpose of the project:About us: National institute for social integration have more than 10 years’ experience working in field of human rights. We are inviting you to participate in human rights education program. We are using non-formal education methods and working with young people, from different social groups, with experts, who are active in teenager’s education system and with all community in Lithuania. Programs: – Human library – it is a non-formal education program that promotes interpersonal communication with socially vulnerable groups. In an interpersonal conversation, a person from a social group becomes a ‘book’ and another person becomes a ‘reader’. – Peer2peer educators – human rights education program for teenagers and young people. – Lithuania Refugees support and integration network – it is a network of governmental organizations, business sector and non-governmental organizations that seek to facilitate the integration of refugees in Lithuania.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 30/06/2020 to 29/06/2021 (12 months)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:
Technical assistance and finances: – We are buying tickets to volunteering place and back; – We are renting the living place; – We are paying pocket money (4.00 EUR/day); – We are carrying for food and other basic needs; – We are organizing short Lithuanian language courses – Volunteer will live in Vilnius; – the Main office is in center of Vilnius.
Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
We are expecting from you: – Language skills in English or Russian; – Interest and passion about human rights; – Motivation to develop and implement human rights education methods; – Primary knowledge or motivation to learn events management skills; – Motivation to work with people from different social groups.
