Short term ESC project in Bulgaria!

Purpose of project: – to address a socially relevant topic and help young people to better understand what hate speech is, be aware of the consequences for society and be able to differentiate it from freedom of speech – to raise awareness on hate speech and cyberbullying as serious issues, With even more serious consequences and hate crimes as a violation of human rights – presenting ways and channels for reporting hate speech online and introducing the Council of Europe’s No hate speech movement to young people – promote media literacy and safe and tolerant use of the Internet and knowledge of the basic legal frameworks among young people for combating cyber-defeat – informing young people how to effectively combat speech promoting the arts and especially graffiti as a way of expressing of youth and their active position against hate speech.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period  – 15/05/2020 to 28/06/2020 (45 days)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:

The volunteers will be accommodated for free with full utility bills paid in fully furnished apartment in double room/ triple room with another person from the same gender. Food and pocket money: Volunteers will receive 110 euros for food and 120 eur for pocket money per month Transportation: Participants’ travel costs from their home city to Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria will be reimbursed on actual expenses of the participants 

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:

All participants must be at age 18 -30 years old – All participants must be currently residing in the country they will represent and be able to prove it if needed with documents – Open minded , willing to volunteer and motivated to be part of our team
