Long term ESC project in Germany!

Location: Nordhausen, Germany

Project name: Kindergarten Domschlösschen

Sending organization: “Common Sense” Youth Organization

Purpose of the project: The Project which cares for children in the ages of 3 months to the age of school enrollment. The team is working with an open concept which. That means children can choose by themselves which activities they like to do. Therefor the children have different opportunities to choose: creative-, role-, handicraft-, experiment rooms and a workshop for writing. As a team we accompany the children to unfold need-based. In doing so, we address the individual conditions of the children and promote their individual self-development. We are happy about a great variety of children in our institution. Our team has many years of experience with caring about European volunteers.

Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)

Project period  – 06/01/2020 to 05/01/2021 (1 year)

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:

Our volunteers live in a flat with other volunteers. Everyone has an own room. Only the kitchen and the bathroom are used together. Our volunteers get Money to buy food and so they cook for themselves. Moreover they get pocket Money. Every volunteer gets a Bahncard to travel by Train in Germany for lower costs. For the mobility in Nordhausen you will get a bike. Nordhausen is a small town in the North of thuringia near the harz mountains. Here you find a Theater or a Cinema. The next bigger cities are Erfurt or Leipzig.
