Purpose of the project: Youth Centre Domžale is looking for one EVS volunteer, aged between 18 and 30 years, to bring international dimension into the organisation and its project. Volunteer will help with the implementation of various activities in youth centre. The main activities are: – Promotion of international programmes in the local environment with a special focus on activities held in local schools and youth centre; – Promotion of his/her culture; -Help with the implementation of a holiday programme for children between 6 and 11 years old; -Help with the implementation and promotion of the activities in youth centre (including street actions). Beside this volunteer will have an opportunity to run his/her own projects and activities. These activities depend on the interest and hobbies of the potential volunteer. We are open to new ideas and the volunteer will have free hands as far the activities will be compliant with the aims of the youth centre.
Number of volunteers: 1 volunteer between 18-30 years old (Only Azerbaijani citizenship)
Project period – 01/12/2019 to 30/11/2020 (1 year)

Application conditions and requirements for volunteering:
We are looking for a volunteer who is/has: – Fluent in English -Preferably has experiences in a youth field or at least has a wish to work in a youth centre – Is flexible in working hours (35 hours per week, mornings and afternoons, occasionally also weekends) – Is talkative and willing to spend time with local youngsters. The call is open to all nationalities, and we would be happy to have you here as long as you are eligible to join European Solidarity Corps.
